Download the EA

Download the Expert Advisor file for MetaTrader 5.
It's also in your customer portal.

Add it to MT5

In MetaTrader 5, open File → Open Data Folder, then place the EA file in the MQL5 → Experts folder. Restart MT5 or refresh the Navigator panel so the EA appears under "Expert Advisors."

Open the Strategy Tester

In the Navigator panel, right-click the QuantMind Expert Advisor and choose Test.
The Strategy Tester opens at the bottom of MetaTrader 5 with the EA already selected. You can also open it from View → Strategy Tester, or with Ctrl+R.

Choose what to test

On the tester's Settings tab:

• Expert: the QuantMind Expert Advisor
• Symbol: XAUUSD
• Date: Custom period, with start and end dates between 1 January 2021 and 30 June 2026, the range the built-in historical orderflow data covers
• Modelling: Every tick based on real ticks, for the most accurate result
• Deposit and leverage: the same as the account you plan to trade

Leave the inputs as they are

The Inputs tab lists the EA's settings.
Leave them at their defaults for your first test, so the result reflects the system as it ships.

Start the test

Press Start, at the bottom right of the tester.
A progress bar shows how far through the date range it is. The complete system, orderflow entries and exits plus the news gate, runs on historical orderflow data from 1 January 2021 to 30 June 2026, built into the download, with no network connection.

Review the results

When the progress bar finishes:

• Backtest tab: the summary statistics and every trade
• Graph tab: balance and equity over the test period
• Journal tab: a log of what the EA did and when

To keep a copy, right-click inside the Backtest tab and save the report.
